SAP Scheduler Jobs description

A SAP scheduler is proficient in planning, scheduling, organizing, cost controlling, reporting, administrating, interfacing, communicating and implementing project activities. A SAP scheduler assists and supports the project manager to execute a contracted project and to ensure that the three key project elements: cost, schedule and quality are met. A SAP scheduler plans and schedules project execution and monitors performance of other departments involved (through SAP PS, primavera, reports, meetings and other communications) and identifies critical and delayed project activities. A SAP scheduler liaises with internal sales, engineering, procurement, planning, manufacturing and quality as necessary to insure that the project progress is maintained. A SAP scheduler plans/schedules and monitors project activities such as engineering design and document releases, procurement, manufacturing, testing and quality inspections. A SAP scheduler demonstrates adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change and ability to negotiate consensus amongst diverse groups.

A SAP scheduler requires a bachelor’s degree in information systems, business or equivalent field. A SAP scheduler should have organizing ability, accuracy/reliability with flexibility and ability to work under pressure. A SAP scheduler should have ability to communicate effectively with internal staff and customers. Excellent time-management skills and good English language skills (spoken and written) are required.
