SAP ABAP Jobs

A SAP ABAP professional designs, programs, documents and tests SAP applications based on functional requirements. A SAP ABAP professional has extensive working knowledge of the SAP ABAP workbench, ABAP programming language, SAP data dictionary, screen painter, smartforms, dialog and object oriented programming, and SAP design and coding techniques. A SAP ABAP professional establishes program and data parameters and formats, and coordinate symbolic statements of problems into appropriate specifications for coding computer systems, identifying functions to be programmed, information processing techniques, and data representation. A SAP ABAP professional provides software maintenance and user support by maintaining the business application systems, supporting user requests and resolving systems issues. A SAP ABAP professional also provides support and maintenance, program modifications, performance tuning, problem solving, debugging, gathering and writing technical specifications. A SAP ABAP professional defines standards and reusable approaches with benefit to cross-functional groups as well as provides alternatives based on best practices and SAP functionality. A SAP ABAP professional is aware of new developments in industry and process and has ability to apply them to work as appropriate.

A SAP ABAP professional requires a bachelor’s degree in science, computer application or engineering/technology or equivalent. A SAP ABAP certification is preferred. A SAP ABAP professional should have experience in IT project-related testing and documentation. A SAP ABAP professional should be familiar with latest technical solutions in the field, has strong conceptual skills, result driven. A SAP ABAP professional should have excellent communication skills, including written and fluent spoken English.
