Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Associate F-22 Retrofit & Repair Technical Specialist to support our F-22 Modifications and Heavy Maintenance Team at JB Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) in Anchorage, AK.nnThe F-22 Mods and Heavy Maintenance Teamu2019s mission is to provide modification, retrofit, and heavy maintenance support for the F-22 Raptor. Our vision is to provide world class, high quality, and timely Retrofit Planning, Time Compliance Technical Order and Flight Test Modification Instruction Authoring, Retrofit Project Management, Validation and Verification, Retrofit Kit Management and Installation Support. This position will assist in providing on-site retrofit, modification and repair support for the F-22 Raptor. nnThis position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position will be traveling, but perform job duties onsite at JB Elemdorf- Richardson, AK. Will be staying extended periods of time away from home base location during support of aircraft modifications.nnPosition Responsibilities:nnIdentifies and defines requirements for retrofit kit definition, development and delivery. nReviews engineering data packages to determine configuration requirements. nProvides technical resolution for retrofit and modification related problems.nPrepares draft document and kit delivery schedule in coordination with overall modification schedule.nDrafts modification instructions to include parts/materials/consumable listings and disposition requirements for removed assemblies.nResearches material/parts and procedures during development of modification instructions to identify issues with parts/materials/consumables.nnValidates engineering bill of materials and analyze gaps.nPrepares and authors retrofit documentation and coordinates technical and logistics requirements needed to support retrofit modifications.nImplements retrofit kit schedules in accordance with contract requirements.nCoordinates issues with engineering, technical data, tooling and material.nCoordination of resources (personnel, facilities and equipment)nDocuments and resolves retrofit kit quality validation/verification discrepancies.nOverall coordination and pre-planning of technical and administrative support for deployed contract field teams.nAssists in development of estimates and analyses for retrofit projects.nEnsuring repair parts, kit availability (if applicable) and coordinating with the government, and other contractors to determine work content and availability of end item articles.nnThis position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).u00a0 (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)nnBasic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience): nnMinimum of 3 years' experience in aircraft maintenancenMinimum of 1 years' experience reading and interpreting engineering drawingsnCapable of traveling domestically 75%nWill be staying extended periods of time away from home base location during support of aircraft modificationsnnnPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): nnBacheloru2019s degree or highernnF-22 fighter aircraft structures repair and maintenance experiencennnTypical Education/Experience: nnEducation/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master 4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).nnnRelocation:nRelocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
