Description
Role & Responsibility
Support the implementation
and ongoing use of SAP within the FICO functions of SAP, specifically in the areas of Financial Accounting and basic Controlling
Ability to drive management of execution of small and medium cross-functional projects
Participates in full delivery life cycle; including planning, requirement and impact analysis, estimation, design, build, test, deploy and support
Analyze, design, develop, maintain, test, implement, document, and support Information Services systems and configurations
Responsible for understanding the business needs and applying the correct configuration to satisfy those needs
Work with user and development groups to identify and document basic system recommendations for current and future development.
Assists in resolving software support issues
Conduct data extraction from SAP, transformation and loading into info cubes and BEx queries required
Ability to work with cross-functional teams such as Procurement, Sales, etc.) and work-streams (Development, Data conversion, Security, Training, Compliance etc.) to coordinate the delivery
Assist in the development of SAP knowledge/competency in super users and subject matter experts throughout the business
Collaborate with super users across the organization
Work with external Consultants to provide assistance to users regarding processes and procedures and, ensure business is getting efficiencies out of SAP
Work with members of the Enterprise SAP support team, Business Process Managers, and end users to determine the effectiveness of existing training materials, and identify and implement appropriate changes to existing training materials
Participate in delivery of SAP end user documentation, processes and training as needed
Analyze complex SAP business problems and develop solutions within SAP using available tools and technologies
Review and collaborate with development requests and release plans to determine and help resolve any conflicts between current and proposed functionality
Participate in the creation of detailed enhancement designs based on end user specifications to present to SAP advisory boards as needed
Act as the SAP liaison with the end-users
Assist in setting up of any new divisional objectives
Perform system regression testing for new releases or upgrades to SAP
Assist in the development or enhancement of reporting capabilities
Review development news on future releases and work with Business Process Owners to determine if and when upgrade will be necessary

Requirements
Education / Experience
Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree in accounting, finance or related field or equivalent work experience is required
A minimum two (2) years of SAP experience preferred
Three (3) or more years of experience in business analysis skills and the ability to solve complex business problems by using information technology and business intelligence software
Two (2) or more years of experience in accounting or finance
Required Competencies / Knowledge / Skills
Complete understanding of business processes and SAP FICO
Knowledge of key integration points with FICO modules
Familiar with a variety of analysis concepts, practices and procedures.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Performs a variety of complicated tasks
Intermediate proficiency level with Microsoft Office
