We are looking for an Executive Communications Manager to join our global SAP SuccessFactors team of creative, hard-working marketing and communications professionals. We want you to help our product and engineering leaders craft clear, simple, and compelling stories about our solutions and technologies across a number of different platforms to engage and inspire internal and external audiences. In addition to developing a thought leadership platform for our product and engineering leaders, you will also be responsible for developing an internal strategy for engaging our global technical teams and informing our sales and marketing colleagues about product news. This position will report to the Head of Global Communications but partner closely with our Internal communications and PR leads as well as the Head of Product, CTO and other technical leaders.
Serve as a communications advisor to senior product and engineering leadership to advise on the most effective and engaging strategies and tools to tell our product vision; Develop a deep understanding of the executive’s style, voice, and preferences.
Advise, write, and/or edit internal communications on behalf of leadership focused on company goals, strategy, and organizational changes.
Produce and coordinate communications materials, including video scripts, social media copy, keynote presentations, blogs and other thought leadership content for both internal and external audiences.
Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, to include sales, marketing, PR/AR and HR to tell business and product stories that are compelling for all audiences; ensure executives have a strong external presence with press, analysts and social media
Become an expert on recent market trends, news and social media coverage, and industry research to proactively provide recommendations for forward-thinking content development
5 years of communications experience
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, computer science, or related field
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
The ability to grasp and translate complex technical features into clear and compelling benefits for consumers globally is key for this role .
Demonstrated experience supporting senior executives in the development of external and internal communication materials, including speech writing
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong understanding of enterprise software and sales in a communications practice
Thrives in highly fluid situations and fast-paced environments
Must be a self-starter, motivated individual who works well under pressure
Strong collaboration and project management skills
Able to simplify messaging and influence teams and stakeholders at all levels
Critical and strategic thinker and creative problem solver
Video editing experience a plus
PR agency experience a plus
