SAP Scheduling
A SAP scheduling professional develops the network flow of schedule activities to ensure accurate, appropriate, and effective use of engineering technical and other data, including schedule definition, structure, and documentation. A SAP scheduling professional oversees and coordinates all scheduling aspects of the project and serves as key member of project management team. A SAP scheduling professional manages critical path and prepare weekly and monthly status reports and deliverables. A SAP scheduling professional reviews and implements IMS coding, outlining structures and adherence to scheduling best practices. A SAP scheduling professional manages and communicates a clear vision of the project objectives, and motivates the project team to achieve them as well as create a project environment that enables peak performance by team members. A SAP scheduling professional implements policies, procedures, and standards relating to IMS creation, maintenance, and management. May develop and deploys custom tools, reports, forms, charts and interfaces to other software applications as required.
A SAP scheduling job requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in electrical/ mechanical/ systems or other engineering discipline or science or business administration/ management related major. A SAP scheduling professional should have 5+ years of program planning and scheduling experience. A SAP scheduling professional should have knowledge in assisting integrated product teams (IPT) in planning, scheduling and cost estimating tasks. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written are required.
