SAP Functional Jobs
A SAP functional consultant’s main duty is to transfer external know-how to the client. It is not manpower that counts but intelligence, understanding of processes, a feeling for defects and general common sense. A SAP functional consultant evaluates the demands in talking with the customer\'s representatives, transforms the essence into an abstract and algorithmic business model. Hence, identifies the use cases and transforms them into logical and technical views. A SAP functional consultant customizes the respective business area and making sure the system reacts in the manner according to the constraints of the requested use case. A SAP functional consultant documents the settings and prepares proper guidelines that allow other consultants to do further changes or repairs with due efforts. A SAP functional consultant is experienced in working at customer sites, collaboratively identifying and providing solutions to broad, complex customer problems and issues, specifically within the context of the modules or application suites. A SAP functional consultant takes care that proper training is given to the users and that the system is usable, performing appropriately and the business flow is complete and correct.
A SAP functional consultant requires a BS or equivalent degree. A SAP functional consultant should have minimum experience of three years in application software, implementation/development experience, product support, and SAP application expertise. A SAP functional consultant may require experience with 2 or more full-cycle implementation projects, roll-out projects, and support projects. Excellent communication skill is required.
