SAP Administrator Jobs
A SAP administrator’s role is to supervise and operate the organization’s SAP systems through implementation best practices which include installing, configuring, patching, upgrading, and maintaining the company’s investments in proprietary SAP technologies. A SAP administrator is also responsible for planning and coordinating the change management of processes required for the support of SAP systems necessary for business operations. A SAP administrator applies proven communication and problem-solving skills to solve issues related to the deployment of mission-critical SAP software. A SAP administrator maintains the integrity of SAP environment by managing the SAP correction and transport system to ensure all configuration and development objects are promoted properly. A SAP administrator introduces technical changes into the environment using a structured approach that minimizes risk and achieves high reliability, availability and performance of each SAP instance. A SAP administrator is responsible for correct and efficient usage of business applications, the company’s IT facilities, and networking.
A SAP administrator requires a bachelor’s degree, higher degree, or equivalent work experience. A SAP administrator should have minimum of three or more years of experience in data administration, data management approaches and methods, particularly in productive SAP environment. A SAP administrator should have strong PC skills, particularly in excel. Strong analytical and problem solving skills are required. A SAP administrator should have flexibility and desire to perform whatever function is needed to get the system implemented or attain the required output. Excellent communications skills are must.
