SAP Architect Jobs
A SAP architect provides technical and functional expertise in order to plan, analyze and define high-level software strategies and determine technical inadequacies and deficiencies that affect the functional areas and technical scope for the program. A SAP architect designs the framework of a technical infrastructure and undertakes supervision of configuration changes, supervision and analysis of designs and their implementation as well as supervision of the designs, codes and tests of program modules. A SAP architect monitors the maintenance, repair and tuning of applications and implement maintenance activities. A SAP architect applies SAP support packages, software patches and system refreshes, administer SAP portal security, maintain and update and perform SAP system check on regular basis. A SAP architect is responsible for deploying an application as well utilizing effective procedures for improvement of applications and integrating technical and application components. A SAP architect also provides technical guidance for the lifecycle management of the SAP GUI and the configuration and implementation of standard languages within SAP.
A SAP architect requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent experience. A SAP architect must have a minimum of two to three years of industry experience. A SAP architect should possess the knowledge of SAP systems landscapes consisting of BW/BI, SAP correction and transport system, SAP administration standards, policies and procedures. A SAP architect should have creative ability, consulting skills, leadership qualities, credibility, and self-confidence as well as have strong communication and negotiation skills.
