SAP Jobs
A SAP specialist’s main duty is to provide leadership and direction in global delivery projects, ensures project deliverables are met on time and within budget plan. A SAP specialist carries out interfacing with clients and team members across multiple global delivery centers during a project cycle. A SAP specialist executes leading project planning activities including risk assessment, resource planning and scheduling, ensuring maximum project resource utilization. A SAP specialist supports customers in all phases of the project implementation, ensuring high levels satisfaction among project stakeholders. A SAP specialist provides training, coaching and support to project team members, reviews and manages integration of team member’s work. A SAP specialist serves as SAP resource for future SAP implementations; including process mapping, process design, configuration, testing, training, data conversion, implementation, and go live support.
A SAP specialist requires a BS or MS degree in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent. A SAP specialist should have minimum of 8 years of relevant consulting experience in implementing software solutions, of which at least 3 years of project management experience in ERP implementations may be preferred. A SAP specialist must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. A SAP specialist should be a team player with an ability to work under pressure.
