Job Description
The person in this position will assume a key role in the SAP LE area. Support LE integration with Warehouse Management and Transportation Management Systems, while working closely with plant, distribution center, corporate personnel, and other SAP support teams. Assist with bridging the gap between current distribution operation and technology, by tailoring solutions to meet specific business requirements. Responsible to identify, develop, present and implement improvements for SAP LE processes in a SAP R/3 ECC 6.0 environment. This position may include some SAP LE related travel to Manufacturing and Corporate facilities in the US, Canada and Mexico. Responsible for the maintenance and development of SAP Configuration and Procedure/Training documentation. The person in this position will provide support and solutions to our SAP user community, and work closely with our off-shore team to define and develop these solutions.
Job Requirements
Education
Required:
BA or BS in Business, Operations, Computer Science or related discipline.
Desired
: Masters Degree; SAP certifications.
Work Experience
Required
5-10 years experience in an SAP environment, including project implementation, with emphasis on supply chain operations, warehouse management systems, or distribution & logistics. Experience in WMS and TMS system environment with additional experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and Material's Management (MM). Experience with interfacing external systems (WPS, EDI) and IDOC processing is required. Experience with at least 2 full SAP Life Cycle implementations is required.
Desired
Strong analytical problem solving skills, and the ability to facilitate business requirements gathering sessions with business owners. Experience with any of the following tier one Supply Chain software products (HighJump, JDA, SAP, Manhattan, Red Prairie, or Softeon) is also a plus. Self-motivated, creative, excellent communication skills and can operate with minimal direction. Specific understanding of SAP R/3 tables and data query of tables desired. Working knowledge and experience in specifying all components of an interface design including automated processes, manual processes, monitoring and exception handling
