Streamlining the Process
SAP revolutionized the industry in the eighties, and when we say 'industry' we do mean all industries. Believe it or not, SAP introduced a system for businesses that was superior to all Enterprise Resource Planning software at the time. Though there was other software out there that was able to keep track of business resources, SAP was the first to run on a single interface, and on one platform with a single set of hardware. Believe it or not, having a program running across multiple platforms consumes time as well as many for a business.
The one problem with SAP however, is that it is highly complicated. Piece of software and it takes a highly specialized individual to even make use of it, and sometimes those individuals could be very hard to find. Nevertheless the need for SAP employment has grown, and the demand for those in SAP jobs has come to a point where it's nearly impossible to find the person you need in the right amount of time.
You might be wondering why a business requires people in SAP careers to run their software, after all, you just set it up and read the manual, right? Wrong. SAP ERP software can take up to ten years to implement for a large company, therefore it is irrational to think that it would be anywhere near easy to maintain.
So begins the search for decent workers in SAP jobs to aid the company in their SAP deployment and upkeep. The problem is that there seems to be so few SAP certified experts out there, either because all of the good experts are already employed somewhere, or because there is no way for the existing experts to actually make themselves widely known.
Luckily that is going to change, as the SAP community network is going to use its network of over one million people to market its SAP jobs. It's never easy to find skilled workers, but SAP is doing its best to streamline the entire process. The SAP career center is permitting employers to look through the resume of those looking for SAP employment, and they also allow employees to look through the database of employers hiring for new SAP jobs.
That being said, if you are seeking SAP employment then you will want to make sure that you fill out your resume properly. You will need to list all of your skills and make sure that you have a decent cover letter. The cover letter needs to state who you are and what it is that you do. If you do it right, then the potential employer will know precisely who they are dealing with before they even open the resume up. Doing so will set you aside from many other candidates.
SAP careers are getting easier to find, especially if you have all of the right certifications. When you have those certifications you will be completely in disposable, and at that point you will achieve the greatest measure of financial security. Just make sure that you have the right resume, and that you make the right connections. Before long you'll get the SAP employment you've always wanted.

Several years ago, I was in the midst of opening up various legal recruiting offices around the United States. In my sheer enthusiasm for the business, I would bring new recruiters from around the country to Los Angeles and have them live with me for several months while training them in my method of recruiting. The new recruiters would sit in my office and I would observe them recruiting and ... |
